5/5 Wonderful accomodation and relaxing stay

DKtn, London, England, United Kingdom - August 2014

Stayed in Corrimony cottage during August 2014. When we arrived Jill the owner and Misty the dog gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation was wonderful and had everything that we needed. I was particularly impressed with the wet room next to the master bedroom and the homemade goodies that Jill had left us! The cottage was modernly decorated but still retained a cosy atmosphere and was very well equipped. My son was very intrigued with the animals on the farm, the highland coos, Mrs Norris the cat, the chickens and the sheep. However, he was especially taken with Misty the dog! The cottage is in a good location to explore Inverness and the Highlands. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Corrimony and hopefully would like to return at some point.

5/5 Fantastic!

Kmeikle, Irvine, United Kingdom - March 2014

My partner and I had a wonderful week in Corrimony. The property was set in stunning countryside but only 10 minutes from Inverness town centre. Greatly equipped with everything you could possibly need whilst away from home and a lovely welcome of scones and homemade jam on arrival. A brilliant bath and cosy wood burner made for a super relaxing time. Cannot wait to return here later in the year. Highly recommended!

5/5 A very comfortable, friendly, welcoming place to stay.

Angela135727, Lightwater, United Kingdom - September 2013

I spent a week in Corrimony cottage with my husband, 3 friends and our dog. The cottage is wonderfully comfortable and well equipped. Jill & Gregor were very welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions for walking our dog, Rupert. He had hours of fun playing with the McNicols own dog. The cottage is quiet and rural but only a few minutes drive from Inverness.

5/5 A "Must Stay" cottage in the Highlands

Catherine P, Camberley, United Kingdom - August 2013

A warm welcome from the owner accompanied by freshly-baked shortbread and sponge. Extremely well-equipped cottage so that we were able to cook every evening. Spacious living space and bedrooms/bathrooms.Dishwasher plus washer/dryer were very useful additions. The location in Balnafoich, Inverarnie, By Farr (only a 20 minute drive from Inverness) is wonderful. Mountains and forests all around. We stayed for 1 week but will return and stay longer.

5/5 IDEAL COTTAGE IN PERFECT SURROUNDINGS

TJT41, Surrey England - September 2012

We stayed in the CLAVA Cottage which was perfect for that get away from it all break. The cottage was well furnished to a high standard and the kitchen equipment was not lacking in quality items. To add to the very efficient under floor heating there is the addition of a wood burning stove for those cosy evenings in. The bedroom was equally as comfortable with good decor and large double bed. Jill had incorporated everything that was needed for that relaxing holiday and the welcome pack of groceries was extremely welcomed including eggs from their own chicken. Ideally positioned for touring the Inverness area.

5/5 Fantastic accommodation, great location and hosts

45DavidM45, Beckermet - September 2012

Had a fantastic week at Gask House, the cottage we stayed in was first class, our hosts Jill and Gregor were very welcoming. This has been one of the best places that we have ever stayed in, the location was beautiful, had a sense of peace and isolation yet is only 10 or 15 minutes from Inverness by car. Will definitely be back next year.

5/5 They get it!

Ciara-Madiera, Glasgow, Scotland - March 2012

At last, a self-catering property that has been custom built with care and consideration. French windows opened to beautiful views, the kitchen and bathroom were high-end, and fresh white bedding decked the huge bed. Host, Jill was down-to-earth and welcoming, offering our kids to share any toys they might find, indoors and out. A welcome food pack included homemade chutney, fresh eggs, wine and cute buckets of coloured mini-eggs (we visited at Easter). Our kids loved the fluffy cat, the over-excited puppy and the swings/slide in the garden. The log-burning stove was a big attraction and yet the underfloor heating was so warm we didn't need to light the stove. A great short break, where the visitor feels understood and respected at last. Phew -they get it!

5/5 A beautiful cottage, all our expectations were exceeded.

Julie B, Kirkcaldy, United Kingdom - March 2012

We Stayed in the Clava cottage which was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and catered for all our needs and more. It was nice to stay somewhere located with rural surroundings to get away from it all but also was just a short drive into Inverness. We came away feeling relaxed and had a lovely time during our long weekend stay!

5/5 High quality and relaxation!

DebzColl25, Edinburgh, United Kingdom - December 2011

We spent 2011 New Year at Gaskhouse Farm and stayed in the Corrimony cottage. I can't stress enough how wonderful our stay was. The cottage is finished to an exceptionally high standard with underfloor heating, log stove, huge beds, fully equipped kitchen, wet room... Everything you could possibly want and need! Gregor and Jill are extremely welcoming and friendly, there if you need them and not if you don't. Lots of information about what to do in the area was provided to along with a lovely welcome pack of beef sausages from their farm! Yum! I would highly recommend Gashouse Farm Cottages to anyone looking to get away for some relaxtion and stunning scenary while still be close to the city of Inverness. The quality and service provided are refreshing! EXCELLENT!

5/5 Fabulous cottage, wonderful hospitality and breathtaking scenery

Jacqui W, Felixstowe, United Kingdom - May 2017

We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday, Jill made him a delicious cake and would not accept payment, we had complimentary homemade shortbread too which was also delicious. The cottage was clean, modern, light and airy and was exceptionally well stocked. It was a good location for discovering the highlands, but with plenty of amenities locally and in nearby Inverness. There were three in our party and we had plenty of room, I really liked that we had two separate bathrooms with showers and that the bedrooms were at each end of the cottage with the living space in the middle. We met Misty the dog and Mrs. Norris the cat, wee sweeties. Our privacy was respected, but we were made to feel welcome, felt I had known Jill for years! Thank you so much.

5/5 Sehr schöne, ruhige Ferienwohnung mit super Ausstattung

svent191, Cologne, Germany - July 2018
