Description

Fully new refurbished apartment in the old town of Palma at Sa Gerreria neighborhood. High standard quality with a luxury style. Fully equiped and stylish apartment, and very quiet. You will be right 5-10 minutes walking from the main city atractions such as Cathedral, Plaza Major or Passeig d’es Born. Views to a little and quiet street. The apartment is newly decorated with 1 bedrooms up to 2 people (main bedroom with one double bed). TV and Wi-FI included. Fully equiped kitchen with wash machine and dryer. One completely bathroom. No private transport is required as the spot is centrally located. “Sa Gerreria” is one of the best neighborhoods in Palma, both for its location in the city and because of its low mass and it has a large number of good restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is mainly frequented by locals. It has great presence of urban art. Rules: - It not allow to smoke inside the property, in case of not follow with the rule you will be penalized. -Please keep the order and cleanliness inside the apartment. -Please respect the shared areas of the building: stairs and hall, being silent and keeping them clean. -ANY EXCESSIVE NOISE, LOUD MUSIC AND PARTIES ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! In case of complaints from the neighbors due to excessive noise or annoying behavior by any people in your group, the owner has the right to expel the client and all guests from the apartment whether it is during the day or night, without giving any refund of the amount already paid for the booking and keeping the damage deposit. Booking conditions: -Please note that late check ins: from 21:00 to 23:00, there is a charge of 30€ to be paid upon arrival from 23:00 onwards, there is a charge of 50€ to be paid upon arrival IMPORTANT: We cant offer check in service after 1:00. In case you arrive after 1:00 we should do the check in the next morning. "Covid-free": This accommodation follows all professional cleaning and prevention protocols to make your stay as comfortable and safe as possible; The entire establishment is private and you will not have direct contact with any person throughout your stay, since it does not have common areas.

We booked Style apartment 2a through Housetrip. Every day for a week before going, we received an email saying that they were looking forward to our arrival. I emailed the Manager, Hugo Vicente, twice to discuss arrival arrangements. Only when we were standing outside the apartments, in the rain, did HV inform us that we could not stay there as it was double booked. We then stood in the foyer for an hour while HV ‘phoned around to find a replacement. He then took us across Palma in a taxi to Bonaire apartments. He claimed he could not let us in but cleaners were coming with keys. I asked him if Bonaire was of the same standard as Style, he assured us it was. He then made an excuse and left. Half an hour later the cleaners arrived. We saw the inside of Bonaire, but only glimpsed it as we had to leave in order that the cleaners could work on it. We eventually got in at 17.30 and saw that it was nothing near the size or standard of Style apartments. Style is 60m2, Bonaire, 30m2. As can be seen on Priority’s website, Bonaire costs 1200euros per month, which is 170 euros for the four days of our stay. We paid 435 euros for Style. We also discovered that the shower drain was blocked, which accounted for the strong smell of damp. However it also meant that we could not have a proper shower because after about 30seconds the shower tray filled and flooded the bathroom. I contacted HV about this and other matters and received no reply. We never saw him again during our four day stay. I should have contacted Housetrip, the booking agent at the start of this fiasco, but I naively thought that things would be satisfactorily sorted out, I was wrong. When I finally got through to HV on the ‘phone he offered 120euros. I pointed out this was less than half our overpayment and did not take into account any inconvenience. I was not really bothered about compensation, but I objected to being cheated out of our overpayment for a substandard accommodation. HV refused to discuss or justify his decision. He lied to us, he manipulated us and he cheated us. Based on my experiences with Hugo Vicente, his attitude and appalling customer service,I would advise others to give Priority Villas a very wide berth.
