Courchevel 1850 and Meribel are large international resorts that provide some luxurious accommodation whilst the villages of Saint Martin, La Tania, Orelle and Brides les Bains are smaller but are quaint and more traditional yet still provide easy access to the whole ski area.

The Tyrolienne, Val Thorens
If you feel the need for an adrenaline fuelled ride of your life then try the Tyrolienne zipline. This is Europe's highest zipline with a starting of altitude of 3230m giving spectacular views of the Tarentaise mountains.
It takes 1 minute and 45 seconds to cover the 1300m reaching speeds pf 105kms/hour 250m above the ground. The ride starts at the Bouchet lift mountain station in Orelle and finishes at the Thorens Funitel at 3000m
Spa & wellness
One of the few public spas in the 3 Valleys, the The Cinq Mondes spa in the Parc Olympique is the ideal retreat after a day on the slopes. Located in the centre of Meribel opposite the La Chaudanne ski lift, the Parc Olympique was built for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. It was then transformed into a sports facility with swimming pool, ice rink, bowling alley, climbing wall and wellness area making it the ideal place to visit on those bad weather days.
The spa area consists of steamroom, sauna and you can choose a range of beauty treatments and massages or select from one of the Cinq Mondes packages.
