Then, when the ski season comes to a close, many ski resort put on week long parties with Ibiza style clubs on the snow and live bands. This is our pick of some of the more lively venues for the coming ski season...
Ischgl, Austria
Event: Top of the Mountain

Book accommodationThe Top of the Mountain festivals at Ischgl are held 3 times a year with the season opener concert held in late November. The other two concerts are held at Easter and at the close of the season.
The festivals have been attracting A-list names for years and have included top acts like Elton John, Robbie Williams and The Beach Boys. Admission is normally free when you purchase the lift pass.
Verbier, Switzerland

The week long festival is all about DJs and snow and will appeal to partygoers and lovers of rave. "Party on top of the World" An action-packed week of snow, music, and festivities held in the incredible snow-covered village of Les 2 Alpes France.
The cost of admission to the 6 day event is included with the cost of your lift pass which for the time of year, is approximately £200.
Portes du Soleil, France & Switzerland
Event: Rock the Pistes
When: 17-24 March 2024
Book accommodationRock the Pistes is a real music festival with over 80 concerts a day around the 12 main resorts of the Portes du Soleil carousel spanning France and Switzerland. Venues include the big hitting resorts of Avoriaz and Morizine which is where the main concerts are held.
The concerts are held up the mountains and are free so all you need to see the bands is a valid lift pass.
Mayrhofen, Austria
Event: Snowbombing
When: 8-13 April 2024

Having been going for over 25 years, this is one end of ski season party not to miss with A-listed bands and world famous DJs. All mountain venues are open from 12pm-4pm. After partying on the mountain, head down to the in-town venues, open from 4pm-6am.
