In detail

Prosneige is a ski and snowboard school offering private or group lessons in a variety of alpine disciplines - skiing, snowboarding, freestyle and handiski. For children, we offer ski lessons for those aged 3 and above.

If you want to improve your freestyle technique and learn some tricks, we have our own airbag where you can practice all sorts of jumps in safety.

We have 50 qualified ski and snowboard instructors from the National Ski and Mountaineering school(ENSA) who speak many languages including English, Italian, Danish, Spanish, Russian and German.

A beautiful off-piste itineary starting from the top of the Col chair lift and surfing down into the stunning Maurienne Valley.

Another popular area for off-piste skiing is in the Vallée des Encombres just above St Martin. It's renowned for its off-piste powder stashes and is the perfect place to explore with a mountain guide.

Gebroulaz glacier

This has to be one of best guided tours in Val Thorens and covers around 25km with a drop of 1700m all the way back to Meribel. From the Col de Thorens, you use skins for about 400m to reach the Aiguille de Polset which is where the decent along the side of the Gebroulaz glacier starts. The views of the Vanoise glaciers and the southern Alps are amazing from 3200m!
