The Wengen ski area is huge and one look at the Wengen piste map shows the scope of terrain and variety of on and off-piste areas. There are 3 main ski sectors...

• Grindelwald-First
• Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen, and
• Mürren-Schilthorn

Together, these skiing areas provide over 200km of piste to cruise plus excellent the back-country terrain which is best tackled with a guide.

Beginners and early intermediates will start off taking the lift up to the Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen ski area where there are 100km of beginner slopes, blues and reds plus is home to the children's creche.

For a day out, take the train and head down the valley to the beautiful lakeside resort of Interklaken. once there, you have the choice of Lake Thun or Lake Brienz.
