Summer holidays in the Kander valley can be as relaxed or energetic as you like. Hiking is very popular with over 550km of marked paths taking in resorts such as Leukerbad with it's thermal spas.

A small and traditional ski resort, Kandersteg is a hidden gem and best for cross-country skiing, beginners and those who want to chill out. It you want a huge ski area and use a sat nav to guide you around a spiders web of pistes such as in The Three Valleys, Kandersteg is not for you.
