Altitude run private ski and snowboard lessons in their Zermatt Ski School for all ages and levels of ability. They also offer advanced performance lessons & off-piste coaching for intermediate and advanced skiers looking to challenge themselves in the powder snow and beyond.
Performance Clinics are are a great way to improve your technique, discover some of Zermatt’s challenging slopes and of course to have fun and meet other talented skiers or snowboarders.

Summit Ski and Snowboard School provides private lessons for all levels of skier and snowboarder from absolute beginners to experts.
They also offer completely flexible group ski lessons for adults of all levels with a maximum of 6 per group. Children's groups run for kids from 6 years old.
Taking a Summit instructor can also provide a guided tour of the area including the fantastic route over to Italy and the resort of Cervinia.
Summer skiing lessons
Zermatt is probably one of the best places in Europe for summer skiing given it has a minimum of 21km of pistes including the 7km blue / red run with the top lift at a lofty 3820m on the Theodul glacier. Summer skiing and snowboarding lessons are available from most of the ski schools.

Breithorn & Schwärze glacier
One of the most impressive 1 day ski tours in Zermatt takes in the Schwärze glacier from the top of the Klein Matterhorn lift. There is 2 hours of climbing before the stunning descent at the side of the glacier with house sized seracs everyehere before finishing at Furri - if you are not able to stay over night in the mountain huts, this is a ski tour not to miss.
Zermatt to Saas Fee
The summit of the Klein Matterhorn is the starting point of this fantastic ski tour and from the top of the cable car, you get the panoramic views of 40 towering 4000m peaks! There are many variations of getting to Saas Fee including the challenging 6 day tour via Monte Rosa where you climb up to the 4515m Silbersatte high pass between the Dufourspitz, the highest peak in Switzerland, and Nordend. This is a tour for expert skiers in peak condition!
