Chalet prices in the French Alps The cost of a ski chalet or apartment in the French ski resorts
We have provided some average prices for buying properties in various ski resorts to give you a rough idea of the basic cost excluding, for example, any legal and notary fees. Actual prices will vary as it depends on whether your property is a ski chalet or an apartment (chalets are more expensive) and its location as always. Properties near the town centre, mountain views, and near the lifts for example, are generally more expensive.
The prices in the table opposite relate to the internal size of your property. So to calculate the approximate valuation range, multiply the internal number of square meters (exclude balconies) by the appropriate figure in the table.
