Morzine is one commune that it comprised of two resorts, Morzine Centre sitting at 1,000m and the purpose built resort of Avoriaz that is perched on the edge of the mouhtain at 1,800 and is essentially a ski-in, ski-out ski resort and very popular with families for this very reason. has a main centre which is the heartbeat of the resort that stretches along its main road.
