Ski areas on the Portes du Soleil piste map
Avoriaz
Avoriaz is one of the highest and most centrally positioned resorts in the Portes du Soleil. Its location provides convenient access to the wider ski area and routes towards Morzine, Les Gets, Châtel and the Swiss resorts.
Morzine
Morzine provides access to the Portes du Soleil through a large network of lifts and pistes. It is particularly well suited to intermediate skiers and families, with connections towards Avoriaz and Les Gets.
Les Gets
Les Gets forms the western part of the Portes du Soleil ski area and offers a mixture of beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain. The piste map is useful for understanding connections between Les Gets, Morzine and the wider domain.
Châtel
Châtel sits on the French side of the Franco-Swiss ski area and provides access to pistes and lifts towards the Swiss sectors and Avoriaz.

La Chapelle d'Abondance
La Chapelle d'Abondance is a traditional Savoyard village resort in the French Alps that offers a local ski area with 75 km of runs and direct connection to the massive Portes du Soleil ski area.
Montriond
Located right in Montriond, the high-speed Ardent lift provides fast, direct access up to the Avoriaz and Swiss sectors where you can start touring the Portes du Soleil.
Saint-Jean-d'Aulps
Part of Espace Roc d'Enfer ski area, the 32km of pistes are not lift-linked into the Portes du Soleil ski area. However, you can get to Morzine on the free ski bus which is only 5km away.
Torgon
Torgon sits in the Swiss sector overlooking the Rhône Valley and Lake Geneva and is directly connected into the vast Portes du Soleil ski area.
