Les Crosets is a high-altitude, ski-in/ski-out resort in the Swiss sector. It sits above Champéry in a sunny mountain bowl and provises immediate access to the famous Mûr Suisse otherwise known as The Wall which is a very demanding mogul piste.
The resort is perfect for families with slope and lift access straight from the resort centre. Getting there by car is via the Val d'Illiez.
Champéry
Champéry offers a smaller resort setting with access to the wider ski area. It's a historic Swiss mountain village filled with traditional wooden chalets and has a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants for après-ski.
It connects directly into the heart of the slopes via a high-speed cable car and as a ski resort, it may appeal to families and visitors looking for a more relaxed base. if you don't have a car, you can get to Champéry by train straight from Geneva Airport.
Avoriaz
Avoriaz is a purpose-built resort sitting at 1,800m. During winter, the roads become pistes and many residences offer ski-in / ski-out accommodation but as always, check the exact location of the specific property.
Avoriaz is a great choice for a family ski holiday, couples or groups and offers a large choice of après-ski venues. On days when the weather is not great for skiing, there is the impressive Aquariaz, a water park in the heart of Avoriaz with lazy river and waterslides.

Saint Jean d'Aulps is a traditional, unspoilt, family resort in the Portes du Soleil ski area and sits under the "le Roc d'Enfer" at an altitude of 810m. From the top lift, you get great views of Lake Geneva, the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc.
