Kranjska Gora is situated in the Zgornjesavka valley surrounded by the Karavanke Mountains and the Julian Alps but despite this, is remarkably easy to get to.

By plane

Driving from Ljubljana International Airport to Kranjska Gora takes less than one hour.

By train

The nearest train station is at Jesenice where you can catch a bus to Kranjska Gora taking about 30 minutes. There is also a train station in Tarvisio, Italy and in Villach in Austria.
