How to get to Les Arcs

By plane

Chambery is the nearest airport to Les arcs and transfers take around 1 hour. Many people will fly in to Geneva due to the vast number of daily flights and an airport transfer from there typically takes around 2 hours 30 mins. Lyon and Grenoble airports are also possibilities with transfer times similar to those of Geneva.

By car

If you are driving, the A43 motorway to Albertville is the best route followed by the dual carriageway to Moûtiers and the RN 90 to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Once at Bourg-Saint-Maurice, it tales around 20 to 30 minutes to get to the various villages in Les Arcs.

By train

If you are travelling by train, the nearest station is Bourg St. Maurice which is serviced by the fast TGV trains and Eurostar. From the station, Les Arcs is approximately 30 mins by taxi. Alternatively, you can take the funicular from Bourg St. Maurice up to Les Arcs - these leave every 20 minutes and run from 7am to 9pm.
