A car free resort accessed via a cable car from the valley floor, Bettmeralp is largely a ski-in, ski-out resort and a firm favourite with families.
Offering 104kms of pistes on south facing slopes, skiing in and around Riederalp and the Aletsch Arena provides plenty of terrain for a weeks ski holiday for all levels of skier and boarder.
The main street through the village becomes a piste in winter and is where you will find the apres-ski bars and restaurants plus most of the shops.
