Valmorel is a very accessible resort and can easily be reached from many regional airports. The closest airport is Chambery with transfers taking around 1 hour 15 minutes.

If you are flying into Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon, airport transfers to Valmorel will be closer to 2 hours.

Transfers By car

Valmorel is 2 hours driving from Lyon or Genève and is practically motorway all the way. Follow the directions to Albertville taking the A43 from Chambéry or the N 212 from Annecy. Once at Albertville, take the expressway RN90 towards Moûtiers and exit at....

• Junction 36 for Celliers and Pussy, towards Col de la Madeleine
• Junction 37 for La Léchère-les-Bains, Saint Oyen, Doucy, Valmorel and Nâves
• Junction 38 for Aigueblanche, Villargerel and Villoudry

By train

The nearest train station is Moûtiers-Salins which is served by the fast TGV trains. From the station, you can take a bus or taxi (www.mobisavoie.fr) to Valmorel.
