How to get to Valtournenche

Valtournenche sits 9kms down the valley from Cervinia in the stunning Aosta Valley on the Swiss border sharing the same ski area as Zermatt. Getting here is easy whether by plane, train or car.

By plane

The closest airport to Valtournenche is Turin with airport transfer times of around 90 minutes. Alternatively, there are airport transfers from Geneva and Milan to Valtournenche but these take an extra hours drive.

By car

Driving to Valtournenche is relatively straight forward. Once on the A5 Torino-Aosta motorway, take the exit sign-posted Châtillon/Saint-Vincent and head along the regional road for 19kms until you reach Valtournenche. Breuil-Cervinia is a further 9kms further up the valley.

By train

The nearest railway station is at Châtillon/Saint-Vincent (info and timetables www.trenitalia.it). From Châtillon, and also from Turin and Milan, there is a coach service to and from Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche (info and timetables www.savda.it).
