Sunny Valley Mountain Resort is a deluxe mountain resort in the heart of the Stelvio National Park surrounded by the Ortles-Cevedale-Adamello mountains. Sitting at 2700m, snow is guaranteed during the ski season so you can ski straight from the front door and explore the local slopes.
The lodge offers fine dining at high-altitude for those who love great cuisine. There are three dedicated dining areasin the bar, steakhouse restaurant and the Gourmet restaurant. The best of ingredients, expertly combined, release aromas and flavours that can add great excitement and value to meals.
For apres-ski, as well as the inddor bar, there is an ice bar in the igloo next to the main lodge that serves a range of cocktails, spirits, beers and wine.

Sunny Valley Mountain Lodge offers 11 luxurious suites with the walls done in kelo and with furnishings built by local artisans. The suites are ideal for families or couples seeking an authentic and refined alpine stay in both winter or summer.Each suite is different from the other and designed as a unique space with its own personality and privileged views over the surrounding peaks, from the Ortles-Cevedale mountain group to Passo Gavia and the snow-covered expanses of the Stelvio National Park.The suites are divided into four categories, defined according to their characteristics, layout and level of comfort.
Alpina Junior Suite
Designed for those who wish to experience the mountains in their purest form, the Alpina Junior Suites are the most intimate expression of the Sunny Valley style. Cozy yet refined, these enveloping spaces are crafted in Finnish Kelo wood, where natural light and artisanal furnishings create a perfect balance between simplicity and warmth.
The Alpina Junior Suites are conceived as contemporary alpine retreats, featuring a spacious double bedroom with a soft, inviting atmosphere and a bathroom with shower designed for comfort and functionality.
Kelo suite Suite 34-36m
The Kelo Suites represent the category above the Alpina Junior Suites and offer larger, more welcoming spaces, fully clad in authentic Kelo wood. Each Kelo Suite includes a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, as well as a bathtub, freestanding in the open space in some suites, or located inside the bathroom in others. A chaise longue and an integrated relaxation area give the room a calm and refined atmosphere, ideal for enjoying the serenity of high-altitude living.
Signature Suite 50m
The Signature Suites embody the defining character of Sunny Valley with generous spaces, natural textures and a thoughtfully arranged layout designed to offer a superior level of comfort.
Each suite includes a double bedroom, a bathroom with both bathtub and shower, and a separate sitting area furnished with a chaise longue and a small table, an intimate space for reading, relaxing or unwinding.
Stelvio Penthouse Suite 160m
The Stelvio Penthouse Suite is the most exclusive space at Sunny Valley. It's a true private residence created for those seeking absolute peace and privacy. Located at the highest point of the lodge, it offers broad, luminous views over the Stelvio National Park and the mountain ranges surrounding Passo Gavia.
The master bedroom has a large picture window overlooking the peaks and is furnished with armchairs and a table, and features a freestanding bathtub in the room. The second bedroom provides a comfortable, secluded space ideal for families or small groups. The suite also includes two bathrooms, a private entrance and a panoramic living room and is perfect for families or couples in search of total seclusion.

All prices are in euros, including VAT, plus statutory local tax of €2.00 per person/night. Additional services such as parking at the base lift station are available upon request/upon booking and can incur additional charges. Check-in and Checkout times
The lodge is only reachable via cable car which operates from 08:30 until 16:00. Check-in is available from 12.00pm to 15:00 p.m. If you wish to arrive earlier, please request this on the contact form when making your reservation request but in any event, you'll need to let the lodge know in advance what time you'll arrive. Check-out is from 9.00am until 11.00am.

Sunny Valley Kelo Mountain Lodge sits at 2700m above Santa Caterina at the top of the 8 seater Plaghera-Sobretta-Vallalpe gondola. There is paid parking at the base station for guests arriving by car. Please note that during the winter season the mountain passes Gavia, Stelvio and Mortirolo are closed.
Sitting in the heart of Valfurva, skiing holidays in Santa Caterina are all about great skiing, superb food and spectacular scenery. It is known as being a top ski resort for intermediate and expert sksiers and snowboarders with challenging trails such as the Deborah Compagnoni and the off-piste back-country bowls in Sunny Valley.
The skiing is predominantly on red runs with plenty of cruising opportunities and tree lined runs plus some exceptional off-piste itineraries.
