How to get to Alpbach
By plane
The nearest airport to Alpbach is Innsbruck at just 61km with transfers from the airport taking around 45 minutes which is ideal if you are travelling with young children.
By car
If you are hiring a car from the airport and arriving at Munich or Salzburg airports, the transfer times are around 90 minutes depending upon traffic. The good news is that the road system is excellent and its practically motorway (A12) all the way to the resort - you exit at Kramsach. Remember to buy your road tax sticker for travelling on the Austrian motorways. These can be purchased at the airport, border or petrol stations.
By train
The nearest train stations are at Jenbach or Wörgl which are both 10 km from the Alpbach. From the train station, you can catch a bus or take a taxi.
