Andorra-La-Vella is the capital of Andorra and surrounded by fantastic ski resorts that have developed at a pace since the early 1990s. Ski resorts such as Grandvalira Soldeu - Encamp - Escaldes-Engordany, Valnord Pal-Arinsal and Pas de la Casa to name a few. The Andorran Pyrenees offers a lot for your buck and is well worth discovering as it offers something different to a typical ski resort. There is a real Catalan feel reflected through the culture and cuisine which is delicious.

Andorra La Vella is also renowned for its duty free shopping with massive shopping centres such as the Galleria Andorra on the main shopping street Avenue Meritxell and also has very nice restaurants and what is considered a very high quality of life. With an abundance of skiing all around and stunning scenery winter and summer with lots of sports activities it is easy to understand why.
