Bettmeralp piste & trail map Skiing & snowboarding in Bettmeralp, Aletsch Arena, Valais
One look at the Aletsch Arena - Bettmeralp piste map shows the variety of terrain that the ski area has to offer. With it's 104kms of connected pistes, the Aletsch Arena offers such impressive views of the Great Aletsch Glacier, the 4000-metre Valais peaks – including the Matterhorn – and the magnificent peaks of the UNESCO Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site. A trip to Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn viewpoints is an absolute must!
For beginners there are some nursery slopes close to town and several blue pistes. For intermediates, nearly half the pistes are rated as Red and there are some impressive trails that wind down the mountain from the edge of the glacier.
For advanced skiers, there is not really that much terrain on the pistes with only 12kms of black pistes. However, don't be put off as the off piste terrain is some of the best in the Alps. The snowsports and mountaineering schools in the Aletsch Arena offer a host of guided ski trips with highly qualified mountain and ski guides. These range from day trips to guided ski weekends and week-long trips.
