How to get to Big Sky
Big Sky Resort is located midway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone, in southwestern Montana on US Highway 191 so whether you are coming by plane or car, the route is easy.
By plane
The closest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International that has daily non-stop flights from most major cities including La Guardia, Seattle, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Vegas and Denver. Alaska Airlines, Delta, United Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Air all fly there.
Airport Transfers & Driving
From Bozeman Yellowstone airport, the transfer takes around 1 hour to cover the 84km.

The route to Big Sky is 90% highway which makes driving there quite easy. From the airport, follow directions for US-191 and once on there, head south for 34 miles and exit at the signpost for Lone Mountain Trail. Follow the road, passing through the Meadow Village before arriving at Big Sky resort.
Big Sky by train
Unfortunately, there are no train stations within a few hundred miles of Big Sky and the best way to get there is airport transfer / car hire from the airport.
