Skiing in Galtür, Austria - the highest village in the Silvretta mountains at 1600m which is blessed with fantastic views and lots of snow. There is an excellent ski school for children offering plenty of fun and action.
The local ski area is a modest 40km and is really suited to beginners and intermediate skiers and boarders. However, a 15 minute bus ride to Ischgl ski resort opens up a further 238km and all covered by the Silvretta lift pass. Skiing in Ischgl is a mecca for good intermediates and experts.
