Looking at the Going am Wilden Kaiser piste map, its easy to see why this huge ski area is popular with all levels of skier and snowboarder. There are beginners areas at each of the villages that link easily into blue runs. For intermediates, there are plenty of blues and red pistes. Advanced skiers will feel a little left out as there are limited black pistes - 13 in total. However, venture off-piste or try some ski touring and you'll be richly rewarded with extensive back country terrain.
Its also possible to ski over to Kitzbühel via Westendorf which is a fantastic day out and has some very challenging terrain. However, you will need to upgrade your lift pass to the Alpen AllStar Card.
