How to get to Grächen
Grächenis one of those easy-to-get-to resorts whether you are coming by plane, train or car.
By plane
The nearest international airport is Sion which is only 70km away and takes around 45 minutes to drive to the resort base lift station. Sion is largely served by regional airlines but is getting more popular with carrriers.

By car
From within Switzerland, pick up the A9 motorway that runs from Lausanne taking you along the side of Lake Geneva. Head towards Visp passing Montreux, Martigny and Sion on the way. Once at Visp, take the directions to Saas Fee and then follow the signs to Grächen.

Once at Visp, you need to change to the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGBahn) train and take this to St. Niklaus. The train is a narrow gauge and rack railway and run every 30 minutes. Once at St Niklaus, there are regular buses to Grächen or you can take a short taxi ride. Train information can be found at www.cff.ch
