Heavenly is located in South Lake Tahoe, straddling the states of California and Nevada, Heavenly ski resort is easy to get to whether you are flying in or driving.

By plane

The nearest airport is Reno followed by Sacramento which offer more than 200 non-stop daily direct flights from virtually every city throughout the United States. Airport transfers from Reno take around 80 minutes via Highways 395 and 50.

If you have not hired a car, there are plenty of airport transfer shuttle buses that drop off at most of the hotels in the resort.

By car

For those who choose to drive, it is a very scenic trip passing through forests and mountain valleys before you arrive at Lake Tahoe and then on towards Heavenly ski resort. Highway 50 provides direct, all-weather access.

By train

Amtrak in the Bay Area offers both train and bus service into South Lake Tahoe.
