Skiing at Kicking Horse - this mountain resort known as "K Ho" locally, is intimate, small and friendly and set within pristine natural beauty in the Purcell mountain range of British Columbia. Yet, when it comes to the skiing, it punches well above its weight with a massive 2800 acres on your doorstep.
Popular with families, around half the pistes are suited to beginners and early intermediates with wide open slopes that are perfect for building your confidence and technique.
Off the slopes, you'll find lively bars and several restaurants in the resort plus you can venture out to the main town of Golden just 12km away for a wider selection of apres-ski venues.
