A popular itinerary, the Bichlalm ski touring area is a paradise for all ski tourers. There two easily reachable summits giving spectacular views over the Höhe Tauern National Park and all the way to Brixental. The top section of the trail is very steep with a gradient of 60 degrees but after this, you'll find yourself ski touring in more gentle, wide and deep powder fields which is when the fun starts.
Ski tour on the Resterkogel
This ski tour is graded as average in terms of difficulty and invloves a gentle ascent to the sumit of the Resterkogel at 1870m. The 3.8km ski tour normally takes around 2.5 hours with a vertical of 600m. From the top, you have amazing views of the Salzach valley and the peaks of the Hohe Tauern, and the Kitzbühel Alps.
