Beginners
A great resort for beginners with the gentle nursery slopes conveniently situated close to the village. Children are looked after very well with two kindergartens. The ski kindergarten caters for 3-6 year olds and non-ski kindergarten for 2-6 years.
Intermediate
A small number of red runs can be found on the main skiing areas of Koblabut after a few days, yu will want to explore Vogel at the other end of the lake.
For some fun, there are numerous routes off to the side of the tree lined pistes.
Advanced
Experienced skiers should immediately head for Vogel and then venture to Kranjska Gora. However, if you like speed then a specialty is "Kobla III", a high speed 6km red!
Cross-country
There are some excellent and very pretty cross country trails through the Pokljuka Plateau.
Things to see & do in Kobla

Après-ski
The nightlife is based around the centre of Bohinjska Bistrica with plenty of good cafes, bars and restaurants. This is not St Anton in Austria by any means but what you do get is good authentic nightlife, fantastic food and you won't go home nursing your wallet. Relaxing and good fun is how to describe the apres-ski.
Featured holiday rentals
Unlike Vogel, there is no accommodation on the mountain and tourists tend to stay at Bohinjska Bistrica which is the largest village around Lake Bohinj and next to the main ski lift. There is also a wide choice of accommodation around the many villages that make up Lake Bohinj such as Stara Fuzina and Studor. Bohinjska Bistrica has the most tourist beds and and good selection of hotels, chalets and apartments to rent - it also has the best nightlife.

Kobla ski resort is a great place to learn to ski with gentle slopes and good inter-linked blue pistes. For good intermediates and advanced skiers, head to Kranjska Gora. With the beautiful Lake Bohinj as the back-drop, you dont get much better settings than this.
