Skiing in Le Biot - sitting on the eastern flank of the Dranse river, Le Biot is a traditional, unspoilt, family resort in the Portes du Soleil ski area just 10kms from Morzine. Le Biot offers skiers the grandiose backdrop of "le Roc d'Enfer" down to la Chèvrerie with great views of Lake Geneva, the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc.

The ski resort itself is quite small with a limited number of runs but that adds to its charm and friendliness. However, don't be fooled by the local skiing stats - its link to the vast Portes du Soleil system gives skiers of all abilities plenty to get their teeth into.

The apres-ski is informal and relaxed with a few good bars in the centre for those that prefer a livelier atmosphere. The other plus point about Le Biot is that it's a compact resort and you can to most places on foot.

Our view on Le Biot ski holidays

We think Le Biot is a great place to start your skiing career. It's fun, lively, quaint and charming and certainly good value. With lots of connected resorts within the Portes du Soleil sysyem, Le Biot is also a mecca for intermediates skiers who enjoy touring.
