Ski holidays in Madesimo - a pretty family orientated ski resort high up in the mountains of the Valtellina Valley at 1550m on the Swiss border. Ski holidays in this compact alpine resort are ideal for beginners and intermediates with 60km of pistes that rise up to 2995m. For more advanced skiers and snowboarders, there are 2 black pistes and 3 off-piste itineraries.
The après-ski is laid back and very relaxed with several good local bars and restaurants but thats about it - don't expect to be partying in to the early hours! Along the main street, you will see a wide variety of shops and throughout the winter, there are many street markets selling local produce.

Our view on Madesimo ski holidays
Madesimo is a superb ski resort where people return year after year to enjoy the family skiing and soak up the local atmosphere. There is not much in the way of linked skiing, nor is the night life going to keep you awake until the early hours apart from Friday and Saturdays when the weekenders from Milan arrive. But, what you do get is a very welcoming authentic alpine village, lots of fun and excellent value for money.
