The local ski area of Obertauern sits at 1630m and provides 100kms of pistes largely for beginners and intermediates due to the number of blue and red pistes.
However, for more advanced skiers there are 7 magnificent trails to test your skills. The Gamsleiten 2 is one of the steepest in the Alps and is a notable black piste with a gradient of 45 degrees. These are the lifts to access the Super 7 itineraries:
