By plane

If you are flying, there are many airports to choose from in either Spain or France although most of the frequent budget carrier flights operate to Barcelona or Toulouse.

From the airports, the only way to get to any of the resorts in Andorra is by hiring a car or getting a bus /airport transfer. Airport transfers from Barcelona to Pas de la Casa take around 3 hours as do the transfers from Toulouse.

By car

You will be able to hire at the airport although it is cheaper and faster if you do this in advance. As you are going to be crossing from Spain or France in Andorra, you will need to advise the hire car company and ask whether the car comes with snow chains and snow tyres - an absolute must in the height of winter and will probably cost extra.

Once you arrive in Pas de la Casa, the only problem you are likely to encounter is grabbing one of the free parking spaces - very limited with the alternative being to pay for a space.
