Pila ski holidays - once an old mining town and known as "Little Siberia" due to its northerly slopes, La Thuile is a popular and very pretty traditional village sitting at 1441m. With the connection to La Rosiere on the French side, there is over 150km of pistes to explore for all levels of skier and snowboarder. From the top lift, you are 6km from the village and have 1100m of vertical to navigate!
La Thuile is a tranquil alpine village and the apres-ski is very much low key. The compact centre means everything is close by and the main streets are home to several boutiques, cafes, wine bars and family run restaurants with the emphasis being on quality.

Our view on Pila ski holidays
We think Pila is one of the prettiest villages in the Aosta Valley that is steeped in history and tradition. Whilst low key when compared to Courmayeur at the top of the Aosta Valley, Pila offers great value ski holidays with access to a world class ski area.
