Ski holidays in St Wolfgang - a beautiful ancient village on the shores of Lake Wolfgangsee, one of the largest lakes in the Salzkammergut region surrounded by the spectacular Salzkammergul mountain range. St Wolfgang turns into a ski resort during the winter and is best suited to beginners and families with 18 blue and 23 red runs.
The local ski slopes are on the Postalm mountain which is around 35 minutess by ski bus from the village which takes you to the base station at 1200m. Once there, the ski area is serviced with a modern quad chairlift and 9 drag lifts. For more challenging terrain, Dachstein West, which includes half a dozen ski areas giving a further 140km of pistes, is an hour drive.

We think St Wolfgang is a beautiful lakeside resort and packed with activities throuhout the year for all the family. A great spot to use as a base for exploring the other wonderful valleys, lakes and mountains of Salzburgerland and for a ski holiday during the winter.
