Off the slopes, the apres-ski scene in the village is fairly relaxed with shops, boutiques, bars and high quality restaurants for fine dining.

Sugar Bowl vacation lodging
The mountainside village at Sugar Bowl has some fantastic ski-in, ski-out accommodation with around 220 vacation rental condominiums and lodges. However, many visitors choose to base themselves around the shores of Lake Tahoe in towns such as Kings Beach (6 miles) or Timberland (12 miles) where there is a larger selection of places to stay plus more apres-ski options.
