Ski holidays in Wald am Arlberg - a wonderful family friendly region of the Arlberg with the village of Daalas at its centre. The family ski area Sonnenkopf in the Klostertal is on your doorstep whilst the nearby Arlberg ski area has 305kms of slopes. With 88 modern lifts in Tyrol and Vorarlberg, Arlberg is one of the world's top ski destinations. It's Austria's largest lift linked ski area – and the fifth largest in the world. As well as the groomed pistes for all levels of skier and boarder, those looking for adventure can explore over 200kms of high mountain off-piste itineraries.

Wald am Arlberg is blessed with an incredible snowfall record averaging around 8m of snow falling between December and March. This is almost three times more than Kitzbühel meaning there is little danger of turning up on your ski holiday and seeing grassy pistes.

We think Wald is a superb family ski area with extensive skiing for all abilities and a varied choice of apres-ski with excellent restaurants and bars. Just 20 minutes is the lively ski resort of St Anton with its trendy bars and clubs.
