Zell am Ziller is a family friendly Tyrolean ski resort 51km east of Innsbruck at the northern entrance to the Zillertal Valley that boasts many famous resorts including Mayrhofen and the Hintertux glacier.

With excellent service and facilities both on and off the slopes, ski holidays in Zell are ideal for families with plenty of gentle slopes. There are also superb touring options as Zell is part of the Zillertal Arena circuit giving 143km of pistes to explore.

Whilst a relatively small ski resort, Zell has lively apres-ski and a good variety of restaurants and cafes.

Our view on skiing in Zell am Ziller

We think Zell ski resort is an excellent base to explore the Ziller valley either through hiking or mountain biking in the summer to ski touring in the winter. With it's charming villages, the Ziller Valley offers a good choice between quiet and relaxation to extensive night life
