An atmospheric log cabin terraced house apartment 2.2 km from the village of Ruka, 1.7 km from the nearest slope and in the immediate vicinity of cross-country skiing trails and snowmobile trails, 29 km from the centre of Kuusamo. The apartment is located in the pleasant Plantinginharju cottage area (between Rukatunturi and road No 5), at the end of a quiet road in a pine-covered landscape. The terrace of the apartment built on the slope offers a view to the southwest. The apartment is perfect for a family or even two couples.

The ground floor of the apartment, built in 2008, has an area of ​​53 m² and a low loft of 23 m². The living room and kitchen have a fireplace and an air-to-air heat pump (also with cooling function). The bedroom has a 140 cm wide double bed. The spacious, low loft has a double bed (160 cm wide) and two 80 cm wide beds. Electric sauna and a washroom, which also has a toilet in addition to a separate toilet.

There is a heated parking space for two cars in the yard and also space for a trailer. There is a spacious cold storage room under the apartment for skis and hobby equipment. The SkiBus picks you up from the Rukanriutta-road, about 450 meters away. You can leave by snowmobile from the cottage yard and the intersection of snowmobile trails is right next to the cottage (Ruka's circumnavigation trail, Kuusamo, Posio, Kuntivaara, Salla trails).
The nearest lift is the Kelorinne lift, the nearest restaurant is Royal Ruka.

Final cleaning is included in the price. Pet fee per pet.
The apartment has underfloor heating and is also equipped with a hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle and a toaster. The freezer can be found on the back terrace. The back terrace also provides access to the basement storage room. There is also an apartments communal lean-to/campfire area in the yard; a small, reasonable amount of firewood can be used for the campfire from the front terrace of the apartment.
