By plane & airport transfer
The closest airport to the Dolomiti Super Ski region is Bolzano but has limited international flights so the best option is to fly in to Innsbruck and hire a car, get a bus or airport transfer. Airport transfers from Innsbruck take around 2 hours and have you driving through stunning alpine scenery with the mighty Dolomiti peaks looking down.
On Saturdays and Sundays (from December to April), a bus transfer service called "Fly Ski Shuttle" connects the airports of Verona, Bergamo and Venice to Val di Fassa (www.trentinoviaggi.net)
By car
If you are driving to the Dolomites from the A22 Brenner motorway, then:
- Take the Ora/Egna exit called SS 48 delle Dolomiti - Passo San Lugano - Val di Fiemme - Val di Fassa. Canazei is approximately 45km from the exit, or
- Take the Bolzano Nord exit SS 241 Grande Strada delle Dolomiti - Passo Costalunga - Val di Fassa. It is 37km from the motorway exit to Canazei which is at the centre of the region. From there, it is very well sign posted to get to the other valleys and villages.
By train
If you are coming by train, the closest train stations are:
- Brunico - 38 Km
- Bressanone - 70 Km
- Bolzano (through Passo Gardena) - 72Km
- Bolzano (through Brunico) - 100km
