Being just 350km south of the Arctic circle, Åre guarantees snow from the start of December right through to the start of May so you know that when you book your ski holiday, you won't be looking a grassy slopes!

With over 100km of pistes, ski holidays in Åre are great fun and ideal for beginners and intermediates.

All of Åre's slopes are located on the mountain sides rising up from Åre Lake so if you are staying in a ski chalet, cabin or apartment in Åre village, Björnen or Tegefjäll/Duved, you will never be far from the slopes.

Worth noting is that not all the villages have interlinked pistes but there is a free shuttle bus between the resorts if you fancy trying out other areas.
