There are several Ski Schools and High Mountain Guide companies in Arosa each offering a comprehensive ranges of lessons for all ages and abilities, for both skiing and snow boarding.

Arosa is a perfect ski resort for learning as the beginner slopes, whilst at the high altitude of 1800m, offer progressive terrain. Beginners ski lessons tend to start at Pratschli and then move on to Tschuggen and Hörnli. Arosa also offers some excellent intermediate pistes although for advanced, the best of Arosa is in the back-country. From novice to expert, the ski schools and guides will ensure you get to experience the best of Arosa - Lenzerheide.

Off Piste Ski Guiding & Touring

For good intermediates and experts, why not try some guided ski touring. Expert local guides will navigate you around the high mountain trails in safety taking you on an adventure around the spectacular peaks of the Graubünden and onwards in to the Engadine valleys.

There are many possibilities starting from Arosa with the tours tailored to suit the group's off-piste skiing ability and fitness. Some trips can be for several days and involve staying overnight in one of the mountain huts - an adventure not to be missed.

Arosa to Davos ski tour - 1 & 2 days

This guided tour takes you from Arosa in the Schanfigg Valley to the international ski resort of Davos via Langwies. You can also ski back again with a choice of routes including skiing via Parpan to Hüenerchöpf, Churwalden or the Lenzerheide. The round trip can take up to 8 hours but there is also the option of staying overnight in a mountain hut.

Davos - Bernia Plaisir - 3 days

If you wish, you can extend your ski tour to Davos and try the 3 day Bernia Plaisir off-piste tour. This takes you on a journey up to 4029m where you can see the incredible peaks arising up from the Engadine valley. Using skins to make the accents, this is a fairly demanding tour that requires endurance and a good level of fitness.
