TheAlpe Lusia-San Pellegrino area is just a few minutes from Campitello and is generally quieter yet has extensive trails totalling 100kms. Overall, the Val di Fassa ski area is massive and you'll definitely need your piste map if you intend to go ski touring - highly recommended.
One of the best loved days out is the 24km tour of the Sella Ronda. You join the circuit in Canazei and can go clockwise or anti-clockwise with the whole tour normally taking a full day.
