How to get to Homewood

By plane

The Reno Tahoe International Airport (RNO) operates 72 daily departures nonstop to 15 U.S. cities and 2 international cities. Airport transfers from Reno take around 90 minutes as does driving from Carson City airport.

If you have not hired a car, there are plenty of airport transfer shuttle buses that drop off at most of the hotels in the resort.

By train

Amtrak in the Bay Area offers both train and bus service into North Lake Tahoe.

By car

For those who choose to drive, it is a very scenic trip passing through forests and mountain valleys before you arrive at Lake Tahoe. Heading towards Tahoe City, Homewood ski resort is a further 6 miles further south along the shores of the lake.
