How to get to Livigno
Livigno is not one of the easiest ski resorts to get to especially if you are flying as the transfer times are between 2-3 hours depending upon traffic. To compensate, the scenery is spectacular and actually makes getting to Livigno something to remember - for the right reasons!
By plane
The closest main international airport to Livigno is Innsbruck in Austria at 185km. However, if you can get a flight in to Bolzano, the distance is just 130km with a transfer time of a few hours.

By car
One of the most scenic routes in to Livigno is via The Stelvio Pass which is the second highest mountain pass in Europe at 2757m.
In winter the Stelvio pass is closed and access to Livigno is only via Tirano or from the Swiss town of Zernez in Engadine via a lengthy tunnel. Check the opening times of the tunnel as it does not operate 24/7.
By train
The nearest stations are St. Moritz and Tirano (Bernina Hospice in summer).
