The other option is to fly into Salzburg. From there, an airport transfer to Niererau will take around 1 hour 45 minutes to cover the 100 kms.
By car
If you are hiring a car from the airport and arriving at Munich or Salzburg airports, the transfer times are around 90 minutes depending upon traffic. The Wildschönau Valley is accessible via the Munich-Rosenheim-Kufstein Motorway. Take the Wörgl Ost (east) exit and follow the signs to Niederau. Remember to buy your road tax sticker for travelling on the Austrian motorways. These can be purchased at the airport, border or petrol stations.
By train
The nearest train station is at Wörgl (6kms) where you can catch a bus or take a taxi to the resort.
