On the Pitztal Glacier, the ski season typically starts in September and runs through to the end of May meaning that it is one of the few resorts that guarantees pre-Christmas and early summer skiing.

In a nutshell, Sankt Leonhard ski holidays are not that well known outside of Austria and consequently, the slopes are fairly quiet midweek meaning zero lift queues and uncrowded mountain restaurants.
