Snowbasin Ski Vacations - sitting at 2103m in the Upper Ogden Valley area of Utah and just 60 minutes drive from Salt Lake City International airport, Snowbasin is one of the oldest ski resorts in America where the first lifts were installed in 1939.
Skiing at Snowbasin means you'll enjoy dry powdery snow which is pretty much guaranteed with an average of 400 inches a year with the ski season normally running from mid November to mid April.
Off the slopes, there are a several very smart and upmarket bars and restaurants in the base lodges with the mainstream apres-ski being found in the local towns of Huntsville, Eden and Ogden which are the main lodging towns.

There is no accommodation in the resort itself but close by are the towns of Huntsville and Eden that hug the shores of Pineview Reservoir in an idyllic setting. Here, there is a wide choice of chalets, condos and guest houses. Alternatively, downtown Ogden is just 8 miles away which also offers a wide choice of vacation rentals. Regular shuttles up to the lifts operate throughout the day.

With no lift queues even at weekends, a good snow record, more than enough skiable terrain for all abilities coupled with state of the art mountain infrastructure make Snowbasin a world class ski resort.
Snowbasin ski vacations are not on the radar yet for many skiers largely because there is no mountain lodging and having to take the ski bus everyday but for those in the know, the skiing at Snowbasin is unspoilt and worldclass.
