How to get to Solden
Getting to Sölden ski resort is easy whether you are coming by plane, train or car.
By plane
The closest main international airport is Innsbruck with transfers to Sölden taking around 1 hour with straight forward directions.
By car
The drive to Sölden ski and spa resort is straightforward with motorways nearly all the way there. However, once you hit the B roads in the resort, be prepared to get your snow chains on as the roads can get treacherous after a snowfall.
Driving from Munich takes around 3 hours via Innsbruck on the A12 and then on Highway 167 through the Ötztal valley.
By train
From Innsbruck, you can catch a train to Otztal at the entrance to the valley and from their jump on the regional bus that will take you up to Sölden.
