Steamboat trail mapSkiing & snowboarding in Steamboat, Colorado
The Steamboat trail map shows just how extensive the terrain is - far too much to cover in a weeks holiday and thats without mentioning the back-country options!
Just over half the pistes across the 5 mountains are classified as being suitable for intermediate skiers and boarders which is one of the reasons why Steamboat is so popular - once you can turn and stop and do basic parallel, you will have the time of your lives especially in the gladed areas.
The area map shows just under a third of the pistes are for advanced skiers but that doesn''t tell the full story. With a local guide, you will discover steep chutes, deep powder bowls and very demanding off-piste terrain.
Children specials
Children aged 6-12 years old can rent their equipment and obtain their lift pass for free for the same number of days as their parents when a parent purchases a 5-or-more-day lift ticket.
